On the release of Mark Hunyadi's book "In the beginning is trust", "Values and Policies of Personal Information" chair is pleased to invite you to its 21st conference in the presence of the author who will present his fundamental ideas.
Thursday 11 march 2021 at 9.30 am
Mark Hunyadi, Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and Associate Professor at the Chair, will explain the principles of his unified theory of trust, and how it applies to the digital world. |
This will be followed by a multidisciplinary discussion on law, economics and network security with the co-hosts of the VP-IP Chair: Claire Levallois-Barth, Lecturer of Laws at Télécom Paris, Patrick Waelbroeck, Professor of Economics at Télécom Paris and Maryline Laurent, Professor of Computer Sciences at Télécom SudParis. This unified theory will have to be questioned in the light of practical and current cases, a fortiori in the context of the establishment of the new single market for data at European level and the regulatory framework that is in the process of evolving.

9:30 am: Francis Jutand, Deputy Executive Director, Development, Promotion and Foresight for Institut Mines-Télécom and Romain Galesne-Fontaine, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Values and Policies of Personal Information Chair, IN Group.
9:45 am: Presentation of the principles of its unified theory of trust, and how it relates to the digital world by Mark Hunyadi, Professor of Moral and Political Philosophy at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) and Associate Professor at the Chair.
10:00 am: Multidisciplinary discussion on law, economics and network security with Claire Levallois-Barth, Patrick Waelbroeck and Maryline Laurent.
